style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>Bij een mogelijke verlenging en uitbreiding van de IBC-wet 2016 werd in een nieuwe onderafdeling van artikel 152 bepaald dat op de Seychellen geregistreerde vennootschappen een lijst van bestuurders moeten indienen. Zij hadden tot 1 december 2018 de tijd om hieraan te voldoen.  Deze lijst van bestuurders zou dan voor het publiek beschikbaar zijn.<\/p>\n<p>Daarnaast werd in een andere onderafdeling van artikel 152 ook een besloten register vereist, uitsluitend voor officieel gebruik, met een lijst van de uiteindelijke begunstigde(n). De regering van de Seychellen was aanvankelijk niet onder de indruk van de tegenargumenten en wees erop dat een openbaar register van bedrijfseigendom snel een wettelijke vereiste zou worden in alle jurisdicties wereldwijd. Dit is echter nog steeds niet het geval en slechts een beperkt aantal rechtsgebieden heeft deze maatregel ingevoerd.<\/p>\n<p>Om ervoor te zorgen dat de Seychellen kunnen blijven beschikken over een sterke, onbeperkte offshore financi\u00eble sector waarop alle oprichters en uiteindelijke begunstigden kunnen vertrouwen, moest deze wijziging worden voorkomen. Doel hiervan was de vertrouwelijkheid van op de Seychellen geregistreerde offshorebedrijven te blijven beschermen.<\/p>\n<p>Internationale bedrijven die op de Seychellen zijn geregistreerd, zijn echter nog steeds wettelijk verplicht een register van hun bestuurders bij te houden, maar dan op de statutaire zetel en met indiening van een kopie bij het register.<\/p>\n<p>De vroegere maatregel dat gegevens in het register van directeuren ter inzage van het publiek lagen, is geschrapt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><section  class='av_textblock_section
