Can an IBC invest in the Seychelles?
Yes, an IBC can hold shares, debentures or other securities of a domestic company in Seychelles. However, if the domestic company owns land in Seychelles, the IBC must obtain government approval and pay a fee before investing in the domestic company.
An IBC may purchase bonds or other securities of the Government of Seychelles. It may also own or manage a vessel registered in Seychelles under the Merchant Shipping Act, 1992.
