What do you accept as proof of address?

 No photographs of documents and not older than 3 months

A Proof of address is any document containing the name of the person or entity we are dealing with and the address of that person or entity. If a copy is provided, it must be a good, legible copy. They must not be photographs of documents. It must be a colour scan made by a mobile scanner app (e.g. Scanner Pro or similar) or a scanner. Documents created online are also permitted. (e.g. a download from a bank statement or electricity bill etc.)

We generally accept the following, uncertified documents as proof of address

 
(But we only need ONE of them, NOT all!)

  • bill for utilities (gas, electricity, water, fixed telephone but NOT mobile phone)
  • Account statement of a bank or building society
  • Credit card statement from VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Diners
  • Photocopy of your driving licence, on which your name should be clearly visible If you have authenticated Send copy, please copy the front and back of the document
  • Letter from a consular official or higher, from your embassy or high commissioner's office This letter must bear the official stamp or seal and contain the name and signature of the official
  • A national identity card issued by the government with a registration address

Please note that the documents you send us as proof of address are not older than 3 months.
